A telluric shock with a magnitude of 2.5 degrees on the Richter scale was recorded, in the morning of this Thursday, March 9, 2023.
The shock was recorded at 9:10 a.m. indicated the National Institute of Meteorology.
The epicenter of the shock is located 35.86 degrees of latitude and 10.90 degrees of longitude, off the sea 11.7 km northeast of Monastir.
This is the sixth telluric shock recorded since the beginning of the year, the strongest of which was reported on January 25, 2023 northeast of Chebba, a magnitude of 3.4 degrees on the Richter scale.
