A taxi driver had his plate withdraw this Thursday, June 11, by two traffic agents on Avenue Habib Bourguiba in Tunis.
Reason: he would have refused to accompany a family to their destination due to increased traffic around 11 am. An excuse used by a majority of taxi drivers in Tunis.
Two police women who were present at the place immediately applied the law confiscating the plate of the taxi driver in question which faces a fine following his refusal.
The abuses of taxi drivers are constantly accumulating day by day in the Grand Tunis refusing to accompany the citizens to their destination under the pretext of rush hour or lunch time.
