Israeli forces have intensified their strikes in the densely populated areas of Gaza, killing at least 14 Palestinian people during the night, bringing the number of Palestinian victims to only 24 hours.

At the same time, discussions continue between Israel and Hamas concerning the details of a potential ceasefire agreement. The Palestinian group said it has accepted a list of 34 hostages presented by the Israeli authorities, with a view to a first phase of release within the framework of this agreement. However, Israel claims that Hamas has not yet provided the list of captives.

In addition, an eighth Palestinian infant died of hypothermia in the Gaza Strip, where families suffer from a particularly rigorous winter. Israel continues to restrict the entry of humanitarian aid, including covers and tents, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

The results of Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023 is alarming, with at least 45,854 Palestinians killed and 109,139 injured. On the Israeli side, at least 1,139 people lost their lives during the attacks by Hamas that day, and more than 200 were taken hostage.

Hamas has announced that it was ready to release 34 captives as part of a cease-fire agreement, according to Reuters and AFP press agencies, based on the statements of a Palestinian group official.
