Renowned for its commitment and solidarity, the double Olympic gold medalist took the initiative, in the company of officials from Tunisia Telecom, to visit this Thursday 25, 2015, in the service of surgery at the “Bechir Hamza” hospital in Bab Saadoun.
The opportunity for hospitalized children to meet the Olympic and world champion and to ease these moments with photos, thus creating a festive atmosphere within the service while illuminating the day of young people.
Tunisie Telecom has contributed to this initiative in its own way, by offering young patients educational tablets and tablets for professional use for hospital staff.
Messrs Lotfi Boughammoura, the director general of the “Bechir Hamza” hospital, accompanied by Professor Mourad Hamzaoui, head of pediatric surgery, wanted to thank Tunisie Telecom for this delicate action which made happy in young hospitalized children.
“It was a great pleasure to see smiles on the lips of sick children after receiving their tablets. A thousand thanks to Tunisie Telecom ”said, all moved, the Olympic and world champion Osama Mellouli.
The telecommunications giant intends to continue this momentum by taking part in other actions soon in order to improve the stays of other patients on the one hand and further facilitate the task of the medical profession on the other.
