The Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra occurs on Saturday August 3 in the grandiose setting of the ancient amphitheater of El Djem. An evening of loyalty and friendship that binds Tunisia and Austria.
More than a recital, the annual concert of the Vienna Opera Bal orchestra is the guarantee of a foolproof loyalty, that of this emblematic training for the International Symphonic Music Festival of El Djem.
Indeed, it has been almost thirty years since this orchestra occurred with each edition of the festival, thus establishing a music bridge between Vienna and El Djem.
Durable, always renewed and expected, the participation of the Vienna Opera Bal orchestra in the El Djem International Symphonic Music Festival has in itself become an institution.
For this thirty-edition of the festival, the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra will be back for an exceptional concert which will take place on Saturday August 3 at the El Djem amphitheater, taking the appearance of an annual meeting of Tuniso-Austrian friendship. As every year, Austrian ambassador, Mrs. Ulla Krauss-Nussbaumer, will be present in El Djem, confirming her support for the festival and the continuity of the participation of Viennese artists.
For the concert of the Vienna Opera Bal orchestra, a logistics of the big days was also set up with a special train between Tunis and El Djem to facilitate the crowds of a faithful audience who would not miss this meeting with the Viennese musical tradition.
