A power cut is at the origin of the decomposition of bodies in the morgue of the regional hospital of El Guetar in Gafsa.
The communications manager of the Regional Health Directorate in Gafsa, Mohamed Ali Latifi, confirmed this Friday, July 28, 2023, at the microphone of Mosaic FM, the presence of odors of decomposition of one of the bodies to the morgue of this hospital, following a power cut in the hospital yesterday, Thursday.
Latifier said that the power outage lasted almost three hours, which led to complaints from patients hospitalized in the hospital.
He said that specialists intervened to solve the problem and repair it. He also confirmed that no power failure was recorded at the Houcine Bouziane regional hospital in Gafsa.
