A person has perished and 106 ha of forest were destroyed in fires declared on July 24 and 27, in Ouechteta and Zouaraa of the delegation of Nefza (governorate of Béja).
A source of civil protection in Béja indicated, to the TAP agency, that the fire ravaged the fauna and flora of the region including 80 ha of trees, 9,200 fruit trees, livestock and some houses.
