The Israeli army has intensified its strikes and shots on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 53 Palestinian deaths in one day, including children, according to WAFA agency. The attacks have targeted civilians, displaced and residential areas in different regions of the enclave.

According to information broadcast by the official WAFA news agency Thursday July 24, the Israeli occupation forces killed 53 Palestinians in several regions of Gaza on Wednesday.

In Beit Lahia, five civilians were killed by an artillery shot when they expected humanitarian aid. In Nuseirat eight Palestinians died in a strike aimed at a gathering of civilians in rue Al-Ishrin. In Al-Mawasi, a strike on a tent of displaced made one dead and more than ten injured. In such al-Hawa, a strike killed seven civilians, including five children. In Al-Shati, a little girl was killed and 11 other people injured, mostly children, in a park housing displaced. In Deir al-Balah, the bodies of 12 people were found after the withdrawal of the Israeli army. In Rafah, two civilians were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid. In Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younès, two strikes killed four civilians.

Ambulances were also targeted: a rescuer was seriously injured by a drone in Gaza-Nord. The shots and bombings also touched Al-Tuffah, Al-Zeitoun, Al-Daraj, Al-Zawaida and Al-Bureij, killing or injuring many people.

Since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Strip has been the scene of a war that many observers describe extermination. According to local authorities in Gaza, this offensive has made more than 202,000 martyrs and injured, including a majority of women and children, as well as more than 9,000 missing. Famine, due to the blockade and the restrictions imposed, has also caused many deaths.
