The criminal chamber of the Tunis court of first instance rendered, on Saturday July 12, 2025, its verdict against four former members of the Syndicate of the Corps of the National Guard, including former secretary general Sami Gnaoui.
The criminal chamber of the Tunis court of first instance pronounced, yesterday, a sentence of 20 years in prison against the former secretary general of the National Guard Syndicate, Sami Gnaoui as well as another member of the same union.
The court also sentenced two other members of the National Guard union to sentences of 10 years and 3 years in prison, respectively, for crimes related to falsification, detention and use of false documents, money laundering, fundraising without authorization, as well as breach of confidence.
