Announced last September, the opening of a new TLS Contact visa center in Sfax took place today.
This new visa center was officially inaugurated, this Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in the presence of the French ambassador to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, the Consul General of France in Tunisia, Dominique Mas, and Bassem Missaoui, CEO of TLS Contact for North Africa.
According to the French ambassador to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, the new center is expected to receive between 25 and 30% of visa seekers and will reduce the travel constraint.
The diplomat indicated that the inauguration of the TLS Contact to Sfax coincides with the 15% reduction in visa application fees for all Tunisians.
“This center should focus on requests for work visa and investment given the importance of economic activities and business tourism in the Sfax region,” she added.
This new center will be reserved for the inhabitants of Sfax, Mahdia, Sidi Bouzid, Gabès, Gafsa, Tozeur, Kébili, Médenine and Tataouine, underlined Bassem Missaoui and will be able to receive between 100 and 120 citizens per day, including in particular applicants for working and investment visas.
Last September, the Consul General of France in Tunisia, Dominique Mas also indicated that a new TLS Contact center could probably open its doors in Tunis in mid-November.
