Processméméditerranée is a program of cooperation in social entrepreneurship between the three banks of the Mediterranean, initiated since 2016 with its youth program in Tunisia, Lebanon and France. It strengthens the links between universities, companies and associations.
This Thursday, April 6, the IHEC Carthage, Shanti, Arcenciel, 3A and Orange Tunisia formalized their partnership for the development of social entrepreneurship between the two banks of the Mediterranean.
Fruit of close collaboration between Tunisian, French and Lebanese partners, Processmediterranean works to build new bridges between the three shores of the Mediterranean with the mission of arouing the initiatives of change by supporting the social entrepreneurs present and in the making.
Drawing on an original South-South Nord cooperation, the youth program of Processmediterranean aims to implement new learning methods and the establishment of a dialogue between partners to stimulate social innovation and the creation of activities combining the triple economic, social and environmental mission.
Initiated by Arcenciel France, in collaboration with the School of Commerce 3A (France), the program is developing in Tunisia between Shanti and IHEC Carthage to offer a new approach to academic training in social entrepreneurship based on the strengthening of links between universities and professionals and the immersion of students as close as possible to the actors of the ecosystem.
Building on his commitment to the IHEC Carthage, Orange Tunisia combines with this program and continues to engage, as part of the CSR chair, for the promotion of social entrepreneurship and for the mobility of young Tunisian students in the Mediterranean, so that they can draw inspiration from the best international practices in this area.
The operator will also support students from the Master Entrepreneurship Social by providing them with digital solutions to respond to their social issues. In addition, Orange Tunisia proposed that their practical cases are real: they will indeed benefit from the experience of technological social startups accompanied by the operator as part of the Orange Developer Center or the orange price of the social entrepreneur.
Three stages are organized in Tunisia, Lebanon and France, bringing together professionals and students. In January 2017, Shanti and the IHEC Carthage, with the support of Orange Tunisia organized a study trip to Lebanon for students of the IHEC Carthage social entrepreneurship.
Joining young French people and the Arcenciel teams, the participants were able to work with social enterprises and confront the concepts learned to the reality on the ground. This experience will be renewed in Tunisia in May 2017 with the arrival of French and Lebanese students and professionals.
It was on the occasion of the organization of a seminar on social innovation bringing together the students of 3A and the IHEC Carthage that the signature of the partnership took place Thursday April 6 at the chapel of the IHEC CARTHAGE.
This meeting was an opportunity to exchange around this innovative model of collaboration between national and international actors in the public and private sector. It was also an opportunity to confirm the commitment of partners in order to consolidate their future actions for active pedagogy at the service of social entrepreneurship.
