The investigating judge near the Manouba court of first instance issued, Thursday, November 3, a warrant for deposit against a city councilor in Al Batan, for trafficking in human beings.
Arrested in Tebourba, he is accused of having organized illegal migration trips to Europe, via Serbia.
The city councilor was arrested after several families in Al Batan, Tébourba and Djedeida reported the disappearance of their children. A young person, who could not go to Serbia filed a complaint against him.
He was caught in the act of taking the money to organize a crossing attempt.
