The Directorate General of the National Guard announced that 12 clandestine migration operations were thwarted on the night of November 8 to 9.
She added that 405 migrants were rescued during that night, adding that the thwarted attempts are located in the regions of Kerkennah, Mahdia, Sfax and Nabeul.
The security forces are divided between attempts at clandestine migration by sea and that through Serbia, where the services of the Ministry of the Interior have succeeded in dismantling, recently, an international network specializing in the falsification of documents and illegal immigration to Europe, via Serbia.
