The seismic stations of the National Institute of Meteorology recorded on Saturday January 27, 2024, at 10:14 p.m., a seismic shock of a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale in the southwest of the city of El Kattar, in the state of Gafsa.
A few days ago a telluric shock in the northwest of Kairouan was recorded. The Institute said this shock was recorded around 12:42 am and reached a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale.
His epicenter was located, according to preliminary analyzes, at a latitude of 35.77 degrees and a longitude of 9.98 degrees, about 13.4 kilometers northwest of the Kairouan region.
