Agents of the Criminal Affairs Sub-Directorate, in collaboration with the Sidi Hassine judicial police, arrested the goalkeeper, suspected in the flight case of 600 thousand dinars in euros of a armored fund transport van.
The suspect, who was arrested in the locality of Sidi Hassine Sijoumi, currently undergoes interrogations.
The spokesperson for the Manouba Court of First Instance, Nouioui probes, said last Thursday that a research notice was issued against a third individual in the case of disappearance of a armored currency transport van in Denden.
A bank employee and a former driver were custody, on the orders of the prosecution.
Gorjani’s criminal affairs management has started an investigation concerning the disappearance of the van. The fundraising said, during his interrogation, that the goalkeeper who was on board the truck stole a suitcase containing 600 thousand dinars in foreign currencies (dollars and euros).
One of the guards went down for a personal affair, at the level of Denden, the governorate of Manouba, leaving a bank keeper and a security guard in the truck. The latter would have seized the suitcase, before fleeing.
