Algerian writer Kamel Daoud has just been honored by the Goncourt Prize for his novel “Houris”.
The novel “Houris” published by Gallimard editions last August. Kamel Daoud tells about the lead years that have died Algeria in recent decades.
Through several characters, this 416 -page novel constitutes a real “sensual, relentless and poetic” fresco.
Note that several works by Kamel Daoud have been published in Tunisia by Cérès editions.
