Since the start of the conflict, the United States has allocated no less than $ 67 billion (around 64 billion euros) to Ukraine for its military support. Under the pretext of a desire to seek immediate peace, Donald Trump seems ready to sacrifice the victim of the conflict in the name of an alleged equity of human losses.
By doing so, he turns his back not only to Ukraine, but also to European allies within NATO, who reaffirmed their unwavering support to kyiv.
Currently, $ 3.8 billion remains available, funds already approved by the congress but not yet used, suggesting limited military support during the transition period. Although the Biden administration has sought to quickly deploy these remaining funds, administrative and logistical constraints prevent any immediate action.
