Due to maintenance work, the distribution of drinking water will be disrupted for twelve days in five governorates.
The National Society of Water Operating and Distribution (SONEDE) has announced, in fact, disturbances in the distribution of water in the governorates of Nabeul, Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia and Sfax and this from February 8 to 19, 2024.
These disturbances will be due to work undertaken by the company of the exploitation of the channels and water pipes of the North and the general management of dams and major hydraulic works, which have scheduled the outbreak of the Mejerda canal for maintenance and rehabilitation of the El Aroussia dam.
