Chatgpt, a new feature that will revolutionize digital. For some, this technology can even dethrone the famous Google search engine.
“Chatgpt is a conversational agent prototype using artificial intelligence developed by Openai and specializing in dialogue. The conversational agent is a refined language model using supervised learning and strengthening learning techniques ”, this is how we present this new software accessible for all.
By the way, it is a conversational robot launched in early November by the Californian start-up Openai. Capable of writing a poem, a marriage discourse, explaining war in Ukraine or popularizing the theory of relativity, it impresses with its capacities and some describe it as a new Internet revolution.
The newspaper Le Point, says that clearly, Chatgpt has allowed a qualitative jump: it is able to respond, often relevant, to almost any request in natural language.
“It is the largest existing model, in terms of parameters and data used. And from a technical point of view, it is undoubtedly the most efficient model, ”says Marie-Alice Blete, Data engineer, specializing in artificial intelligence at 20 minutes.
According to Le Figaro, this robot was able to obtain 11.75 out of 20 at a law exam carried out in less than fifteen seconds of reflection … This is one of the many performances of artificial intelligence (IA) of the Chatgpt tool, which answered questions from a duty subject to future master’s engineers.
Except that this tool also poses many even ethical problems. “It is a text generator that works particularly well, but it does not guarantee the veracity of the information provided,” says Amélie Cordier, scientific director of Once For All, a computer solution.
In Tunisia, this technology has not made great noise yet, although some media and some university teachers are starting to talk about it. But what will be its uses and repercussions?
This technology will have direct consequences on the field of knowledge. Education, higher education, reading, linguistic production, content creation … All these aspects will indeed be concerned by the development of this kind of technology, and in particular by the absence of their regulation.
