Tunisian swimmers win 8 medals

The Tunisian national team participated in the Swimming World Cup with Palmes, which took place in France from February 7 to 9. A participation that ended with a beautiful harvest for Tunisians, who have won eight medals, two of which are in gold.

If Tunisian swimmers shone by their performance, establishing new records, a swimmer has emerged from the lot. It is Sarah Ben Ahmed, who won three medals, two of which are in gold on the eight won by Tunisia.

Sarah Ben Ahmed won the gold medal over 400 meters by establishing a new Arab and African record (3 minutes, 55 seconds and 92 hundredths). She also won gold over 200 meters, breaking the national record in the junior and senior categories (1 minute, 50 seconds and 84 hundredths); And a bronze medal over 100 meters with a new national record in the junior and senior categories (50 seconds and 48 hundredths).

Nadhir Maaloul over 800 meters and Youssef El Haj Houssein over 400 meters, won the two silver medals while the other three bronze medals were won by Riham Ben Salama (200 meters and 400 senior meters) and Nadhir Maaloul (400 meters).
