The head of the Sarah Zafrani Zanzari government, chaired this Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the Kasbah Palace the fifth periodic meeting of the Committee of major Projects. This meeting was devoted to monitoring the progress of several priority public strategic projects in the fields of health, transport, higher education and scientific research.
During its intervention, the government’s heading stressed the need to meet the time for the execution of public projects in order to guarantee regional development, promote social justice and stimulate economic growth. She recalled that these objectives are part of the vision of the State and in the orientations of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed.
The government accelerates the sites
The meeting made it possible to examine the progress of the current projects, to identify the difficulties encountered and to propose concrete solutions for their exceeding. Particular attention was paid to certain emblematic projects deemed priority by the government.
Confirmed revival for three priority projects
Three projects were at the heart of the discussions: the resumption of the work of the regional class “B” in Sbeitla (governorate of Kasserine), the completion of the National School of Engineers in Bizerte, as well as the launch of the procedures for carrying out the deep waters and the logistics zone of Enfidha, in accordance with international standards.
Finally, the government’s heading recalled that all state institutions – on a local, regional and central level – are mobilized at the service of the citizen. It insisted on the collective responsibility of administrations to overcome obstacles, guarantee territorial equity and make public projects a lever for investment and creation of sustainable jobs.
