A former mayor of Gabès was arrested today, confirmed Faouzi Dergham, public prosecutor at the Gabès first instance court.
A former mayor of Gabès was arrested in the evening of this Friday, July 12, 2024, confirmed Faouzi Dergham, public prosecutor at the Gabès court of first instance, in a declaration granted to Mosaique FM.
The former mayor in question, was placed in detention in execution of a quote to be appeared issued by the investigating judge as part of a case of financial corruption and embezzlement when he resumed the project of director of the International Exhibition of the Region.
