On May 17, Tunisian Hussein Al-Missaoui would have completed his 119th birthday. If he would come to be recognized by the Guinness World Records, he will become the dean of humanity … without sharing!
The information was shared on social networks and several Arab and foreign channels dispatched correspondents in his Bled to interview him.
From the city of Kasserine where he lives, Am Hussein, jovial and endearing, confides in the media on his state of health: “A month and a half ago, my movements have decreased, I can no longer walk, my wife is still in good health and she helps me to move”.
Hussein Al-Missaoui said he no longer knows how old he is, but his answers to his interlocutor’s questions are impressive of lucidity. The weight of age does not seem to affect either its sense of humor or its mental faculties.
The oldest man in the world officially recognized by the Guinness World Records is Venezuela Juan Vicente Pérez. He would only be 113 years old.
