The governor of Kasserine urgently transmitted the file of a brick factory to the Presidency of the Republic, after the discovery of serious shortcomings in the management of equipment.
The governorate of Kasserine announced, in a statement published this Wednesday, November 13, 2024, that the governor, Zied Trabelsi, urgently transmitted the file concerning a brick factory to the services of the Presidency of the Republic so that appropriate measures are taken.
According to the press release, the governor noted several breaches and poor management of equipment and infrastructure, putting the factory in a critical situation which requires exceptional measures. He insisted on the need for rigorous audit and clear responsibility before submitting the file to the competent authorities.
In addition, padlocks have been placed on the doors of the factory administration to avoid any deterioration of documents until an inspection and control are carried out by the supervisory authorities. This measure was taken after a joint visit by Governor Ziad Trabelsi and the secretary general of the governorate, Sofiane Dhouiwai, accompanied by a bailiff and a legal representative of the region.
