The municipality of Bizerte organized a sports and youth ceremony on the occasion of the inauguration of the Bizerte-Ville municipal swimming pool.
On this occasion, the Governor of Bizerte, Salem Ben Yaacoub, who presided over the opening ceremony, praised the efforts of all the central structures and services, first of all the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as regional and local bodies, whether administrative, technical or municipal. He underlined their commitment to the rehabilitation of this important sports and youth infrastructure, which today fully finds its functionality after having been out of service and unused for more than a decade.
For her part, the secretary general responsible for the management of the municipality of Bizerte, Imène Zouwawi, said that thanks to the significant support of the regional authorities, under the supervision of the governor, the municipality of Bizerte worked seriously and committed, in accordance with all of the proximity investment programs, in order to honor all the commitments announced and to finalize the necessary technical work to allow And youth today.
She also specified that in coordination with the sports clubs and federations, the requests of associations wishing to train in the infrastructure have been studied, in order to assign them niches as far as possible, thus guaranteeing good management and exploitation of the swimming pool.
