Launching the price season of 7e Art, The prestigious Golden Globes – awarded by the foreign press installed in Hollywood – have just revealed their appointments. 9 films presented in official selection during the 77e Cannes festival (8 in competition, 1 in the Un certain Look section) are among the potential winners and collect 28 nominations in 12 different categories. After their world premiere projection on the Croisette, the festival is delighted to see them again highlighted and thus continue their journey to other horizons, to meet new audiences.
With 10 quotes in the most prestigious categories – best comic or musical film, best production, best screenplay, best foreign feature film -, Emilia Pérez by Jacques Audiard – Jury and female interpretation prize 2024 – Even prevails at the top of the appointments. The musicians Camille and Clément Ducol who signed the unforgettable soundtrack succeed in the feat of appearing twice in the best original song!
Also noticed in Cannes, The substance of Coralie Fargeat which had obtained the price of the scenario accumulates 5 nominations which notably distinguish its two main actresses, Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley. All we imagine as light of Payal Kapadia (Grand Prix) and The Apprentice D’Ali Abbasi collects 2 nominations. The Palme d’Or Anora from Sean Baker, THe seed of the sacred fig by Mohammad Rasoulof (Special Prize) Or KInds of Kindness (Male Interpretation Prize) by Yorgós Lánthimos are also named.
