They had never seen the sea. For around twenty orphaned children from disadvantaged regions from the interior of the country, this week in Hammamet will remain engraved as an enchanted parenthesis.
A first meeting with the sea
From July 15 to 22, they participated in a stay at the National Center for Children’s Holidays, as part of a joint initiative between Alpha Hyundai Motor, Tunis Sports University and the Rose de l’Espoir association.
A human project
This action is part of the company’s social responsibility program (CSR) by Alpha Hyundai Motor, official distributor of the South Korean brand in Tunisia. Organized with the approval of the Ministry of Women, Family and Childhood, the stay brings together 30 participants, including a dozen supervisory mothers, from all over the country.
On the program: first sea baths, initiation to swimming, fun and educational activities, but above all discovery and sharing, in a secure and benevolent setting. For these children followed by the Association Rose de l’Espoir – which accompanies more than 1,400 orphans across the 24 governorates of the country – this stay represents an opening on the world, a rare moment of respite and carelessness.
Lasting memories, far beyond a simple exit
“It is not just a trip to the sea, it is a founding memory that we want to offer to these children,” says Mehdi Mahjoub, managing director of Alpha Hyundai Motor. For him, social responsibility is not limited to speeches: “We believe that the performance of a company is also measured by the human impact it generates around it. »»
One of others in a united strategy
This is added to several solidarity initiatives carried by Hyundai Tunisia: the distribution of food shortages during the month of Ramadan, the program “A tree planted for each vehicle sold”, or the medical caravans deployed in the remote areas.
With this new summer action, Alpha Hyundai Motor reaffirms his commitment to a more united society, where each gesture of sharing is seen as a lever of inclusion and hope.
