The FTF calls on clubs to settle their debts to avoid FIFA sanctions

Faced with debts not settled by certain Tunisian clubs, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) is sounding the alarm.

Indeed, the FTF published, Friday, March 7, 2025, a statement indicating that several Tunisian clubs still have to pay the financial amounts imposed by decisions of the competent bodies. These unresolved debts expose the Federation to FIFA sanctions, which could reduce subsidies for infrastructure development and the improvement of Tunisian football.

To avoid these repercussions, the FTF calls on the clubs concerned to regularize their debts and to close their disputes as soon as possible. An additional delay could lead to more severe measures, directly impacting their sporting and financial interests.

Anxious to preserve the achievements of Tunisian football, the Federation insists on the importance of rapid and responsible cooperation of clubs. She hopes to avoid any prejudicial consequence and maintain a stable framework for the development of national football.
