The regional delegate of the South Tourist real estate agency, Abdelraouf Slouma, confirmed the approval of the creation of the first tourist area in the governorate of Tataouine, after about 20 years of preparation for the various files, on an area of 8 hectares in the Biyach region, about 4 kilometers from downtown Tataouine.
He also specified that the area will include the construction of a hotel unit, two animation areas and a versatile space for various activities.
The regional delegate stressed that the region requires at least 10,000 tourist beds to exploit its potential in terms of tourist products and spaces.
Proposals have been submitted to create a tourist area in Ain Kirdi, in the Ramada delegation, on an area of 130 hectares, as well as another in Wadi Dakkouk, in the delegation of Tataouine Sud, covering approximately 10 hectares for the first phase.
