On the occasion of Carthage’s Cinematographic Days (JCC) 2024, Tunisie Telecom, an official partner of this emblematic event, unveiled a short film entitled “Our History in Gold”.

This film retraces the historical rise of the company, which has established itself as a key player in the telecommunications sector in Tunisia, while highlighting its contributions to the development of the country.

A time trip: origins to modern leadership

The film, a real historical fresco, plunges spectators into the heart of the major stages that have shaped Tunisie Telecom from its foundation.

It all started in 1848, with the creation of the first telegraph network in Bardo, thus marking the start of the modernization of communication infrastructure in Tunisia.

From there, the company continued to innovate, playing a pioneering role in the introduction of the first telephone communications, then of the Internet on mobile, before extending national coverage which stretches over thousands of kilometers.

More than an operator: a digital future builder

Beyond the services it provides daily to millions of Tunisians, Tunisie Telecom is positioning itself as a real processing engine for the country.

The film highlights its constant efforts to modernize digital infrastructure, facilitate access to new technologies, and support the young generations thanks to initiatives in favor of innovation and the transfer of know-how.

In 2024, Tunisie Telecom celebrated five consecutive years at the top of the national market, consolidating its status as a leader. This success is not based solely on impressive figures, but on an inheritance built with passion, determination and creativity.

An inspiration message for future generations

With “Our History in Gold”, Tunisie Telecom is not content to celebrate its glorious past: it sends a message carrying hope and confidence to future generations.

The film recalls that leadership is not limited to a title or a position, but represents a constant commitment to excellence, innovation and the contribution to collective well-being.

An artistic and symbolic celebration

By choosing Carthage’s film days to unveil this film, Tunisie Telecom also affirms its attachment to Tunisian culture and heritage.

This partnership illustrates the importance of the company to promote creativity and local talents, while strengthening its role of supporting national and international cultural initiatives.

With “our history in gold”, Tunisie Telecom invites Tunisians to rediscover a saga that continues to be written, reflecting not only its role as technological leader, but also its commitment to the future of the country. A work that is both a tribute to the past and a promise for tomorrow.
