This Monday, May 5, 2025, American-Israeli air strikes targeted the Hodeida strategic port, west of Yemen. These attacks follow a missile pulled by the Houthis, which struck Ben Gurion airport, the main air hub of Israel.
In a statement broadcast on their Al-Masirah channel, the Houthis have announced their intention to set up a “total air blockade” by multiplying attacks against Israeli airports.
The American-Israeli strikes affected six main targets in the port of Hodeida as well as several positions in the Bajil district, still under Houthi control. According to the Houthis Saba news agency, sixteen people were injured.
