After having victoriously started the Miami WTA 1000 tournament in the United States, the Tunisian tenniswoman ons Jabeur, attacks serious things.
Ons Jabeur, 30th in the WTA ranking, today faces Italian Jasmine Paolini, 7th in the world on behalf of the 3rd round of the Miami WTA 1000 tournament.
The two players met three times in the past with two victories in favor of the Tunisian, in 2022 in the 1st round of the Madrid tournament and in 2023 in the 1st round of Eastbourne while the Italian took over on Ons Jabeur during their last confrontation in the 2nd round of the Stuttgart tournament, last year.
Exempted from the first round, Ons Jabeur faced and beaten, yesterday in the 2nd round the Czech Katerina Siniakova (57th WTA) in two sets (6-4, 7-6). Ditto for Paolini who, for his part, eliminated the Slovak Rebecca Sramkova.
