Traffic will be temporarily interrupted on part of the regional route n ° 36, connecting Tunis to El Mourouj via the regional road n ° 22 (at the level of the crossing “Miami”), due to coating and enlargement work undertaken within the framework of the fourth tranche of the project of extension of the southern entrance to the capital.
According to a press release from the Directorate General of Ponts et Chaussées under the Ministry of Equipment and Housing, this closure will take place on Saturday July 19 and Monday, July 21, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
To get around this disturbance, users from Tunis to El Mourouj are invited to:
- borrow the national road n ° 3 at the trauma center and the Ben Arous burnt;
- Or continue by the regional road n ° 22, then branch off to the right at the level of the Bir El Kassaa interchange towards Ben Arous, before returning by the interchange of the city El Iskane.
