Originally from Teboulba, this passionate scholar had dedicated his life to the enrichment and the transmission of Tunisian literary heritage.
Doctor of literature, he left an indelible imprint in the country’s cultural landscape, both in classrooms and in radio studios. Charismatic professor, he shared his love of words with generations of students.
On the air, he captivated listeners by producing and hosting literary and cultural programs on Radio Monastir, before playing a key role in the Tunis cultural radio foundation in 2006.
A prolific author, Abdelaziz Chebil has enriched the Tunisian libraries with many works, testifying to his immense talent and his singular vision. His disappearance leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and admired him.
