I am proud of the success of the last two editions and I am delighted to continue this commitment alongside our general delegate Thierry Frémaux and our teams for the coming years. We will continue to work hand in hand in order to bring this magnificent festival to life and evolve, a unique space where all works, all voices and all talents find their place.
To preserve the artistic excellence, freedom of creation and the humanist values of the festival, protect the independence of the choices of the selection, tirelessly support emerging talents and make this event a crossroads where creation and technological innovation are mutually enriched will be the priorities that will guide my action.
I also want to reaffirm my commitment to make the festival a place of equality and recognition for all, with particular attention paid to women, so that they can highlight their incredible creativity.
The Cannes Film Festival and the cinema have shared a unique love story for almost 80 years. We will ensure that this exceptional institution remains a lighthouse for artists and films around the world. »»
