The El Gouna Film Festival (GFF) is delighted to announce that its 8th edition will be held in the magnificent coastal city of El Gouna, from October 16 to 24, 2025.
Building on the success of its 7th edition, which presented more than 80 films from 40 countries and selected 21 remarkable projects-13 in development and 8 in post-production-Among more than 230 applications, the previous edition also offered more than 30 learning and engagement opportunities. These activities included 20 panels, 9 masterclasses, in -depth conversations, workshops and a round table bringing together industry leaders to discuss the future of cinema. One of the highlights was the centralization of all industrial activities in the heart of the festival, at the Plaza festival, which turned into a dynamic and animated center. The next edition aims to expand this heritage, by offering an even more enriching experience for filmmakers, industry professionals, media representatives and spectators. This journey testifies to the continuous commitment of the festival to promote creativity, innovation and cinematographic excellence.
