Tunisia continues to shine on the international taekwondo scene. The world ranking of April 2025, published this Thursday, April 3 by the World Federation of Taekwondo, confirms the supremacy of Firas Katoussi, which retains first place in the category of less than 80 kg.
Sacred Olympic champion in Paris in 2024, the Tunisian athlete dominates both the world ranking and the Olympic classification of his category, confirming his undisputed reference status. With this new consecration, he stands out as one of the best taekwondoists of his generation.
For his part, Mohamed Khalil Jendoubi continues to prove his talent and his regularity at the highest level. Silver medalist at Tokyo Games in 2021 and bronze in Paris in 2024, he won third place in the world ranking of under 58 kg. On the other hand, its Olympic positioning experienced a slight decrease, passing it from third to fourth place.
