The teaching union has confirmed that the video has been recorded today in a school in the Sbikha delegation and that the student’s mother was previously sentenced to similar facts.
An assault occurred in a primary school in the Kairouan region aroused indignation after the broadcast of a viral video showing a student mother bursting in a classroom to take a verbally and physically to a teacher.
Mohsen Hamdi, secretary general of the Kairouan primary education union, confirmed on DiwanFM that the video was recorded today in a school in the Sbikha delegation, in the governorate of Kairouan.
According to Al-Hamdi, the mother, initially, entered the school grounds and headed for the classroom, despite attempts to deter the director, the goalkeeper and the educational staff. She would have expressed her dissatisfaction with the academic results of her child, who were below her expectations. It was also pointed out that the teacher and mother of the student reside in the same district.
It was also confirmed that a complaint was filed concerning the assault of three educators. Security surveys have revealed that the aggressive mother had already been sentenced to six months suspended prison sentence for similar facts, the same source said.
