The regional director of health in Nabeul, Sami Boudaoura, announced that 20 cases of tuberculosis have been confirmed in the region. However, he wanted to reassure the population by claiming that the situation is not alarming.
According to Sami Boudaoura, the number of cases identified is similar to that reported in 2023, which indicates a stable situation and the absence of epidemic spread in the region.
The Regional Health Directorate closely follows the situation. It proceeds to identify the focus detected and put in place the measures necessary to prevent any expansion of this infectious disease.
“Patients with tuberculosis benefit from treatment in public hospitals,” said the manager, recalling the commitment of health authorities to contain and master this pathology.
