A few days before the first screening of the film “Mirage”, Wael Shimi savor the work accomplished. Alone, with his bike, he traveled 160 km through the mountains of the Southwest.
“I had not planned to film a documentary, just capturing as usual moments that I like, with a little music … Then I found a story that deserves to be told”: it is in these terms that Wael Shimi introduces his film of 25 min, a work he has just made and that he is about to share with the public.
To discover this course which led him from Metlaoui to Thalja, Richet Ennaam, Sagdoud, Redeyef, Midas, Tamaghza and Chebika. Six days of raid between cycling and nomadic camp, with 160 kilometers traveled.
