Floods: roads cut in the governorate of Jendouba

The General Administration of the National Guard announced, this Monday, January 13, 2025, the interruption of traffic on several roads in the governorate of Jendouba.

It calls on road users to take the necessary precautions, to comply with safety distances, to reduce speed, to use the cross lights during travel and to comply with traffic rules. It is also not recommended to venture into dangerous areas, including blue dots and areas of accumulation or water flow.

In a statement published this Monday, the National Guard specifies that the following roads are cut:

1. Tabarka

Tarked road and not numbered at the El Jeni bridge, delegation of Tabarka, connecting the regional road 161 and the zaga area, delegation from Nefza. Circulation interrupted due to the rise of waters of wadi El Malah in the delegation of Tabarka following the heavy rains. No alternative route is available.

2. Jendouba

Regional route n ° 53 at the level of the Ain El Beya zone, delegation of Fernana, connecting Fernana to Halima. Traffic interrupted due to the accumulation of mud and rainwater. Traffic can be deflected via the neighboring secondary roads.

3. Jendouba

Tarked and not numbered road at the Béni bridge, Edoura, Ghardimaou, connecting the Edoura area to Oued Mliz. Traffic interrupted due to the rise of waters of wadi Erreghay. Traffic can be diverted via the national road n ° 6, the regional route n ° 59 and Raghes.

The National Guard also recalls that it is possible to contact the Department of Department for Road Affairs to the Operations Department of the National Guard via the following numbers: 71 960 448 and 71 963 512. In addition, it is possible to reach the districts of the National Guard to the free number: 193.
