Tribute to a very tall man, Mohamed Driss, my father, who left us a year ago.
On July 21, 2023, the world lost Mohamed Driss, my father, a pioneer, an accomplished businessman, and a philanthropist. A year after his departure, it is essential to remember his career and his achievements.
Born in 1937 in Sfax, Mohamed Driss was permeated from their young age of fierce work values, perseverance and integrity. After studying in Sfax, Tunis, and a third cycle in Rennes in France, where he graduated in legal and financial engineering, he began a career marked by professional successes and a deep commitment to his country.
In parallel, he has always kept a deep humanity, participating in many social actions, such as the construction of dispensaries, the repair of schools and the creation of a retirement home in Gammarth dedicated to his father.
Passionate about sport, he was the youngest president of the Sfaxian sports club (CSS) in 1964-1965 and continued to support the club for many years.
My father taught us integrity, honesty and hard work. As a daughter of Mohamed Driss, I am honored to carry her values. Today, a year after his departure, we celebrate the great man he was and the beautiful memories he left us.
Dad, you will continue through each of us, and your memory will remain forever engraved in our hearts.
