Loïc Poinsenet at the clarinet and Mohamed Ali Iyeda in musical fusion in Sfax
It is on the initiative of the French Institute of Sfax that a beautiful musical meeting is on the way to seeing the light of day. It is an unprecedented fusion between two musical instruments: the zokra and the clarinet.
Dreamed by Adrien Guillot, the director of the IFT of Sfax, this project is carried by two musicians: Loïc Poinsenet (France) and Mohamed Ali Iyed Werda (Tunisia), both in residence in Sfax from February 21 to 28.
A free concert will take place on February 25 at 6 p.m. at Ibis Sfax as part of this residence and a partnership with the Sfax Higher Institute of Music.
In addition to the concert, a masterclass is on the program with students from the Sfax Higher Music Institute. Then, the two musicians will meet in Sfax during the month of June in perspective of the Fête de la Musique.
