The Ministry of Equipment and Housing, through its General Directorate of Bridges and Chaussées, announced the partial opening of new sections of the project to widen the southern entrance to the capital. This opening is scheduled for this Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 5 p.m.
The new portions concerned by this commissioning include:
A strap deferred from the southern entrance, intended for motorists from Tunis and heading towards Ben Arous and Radès.
Another ramp from the road connecting the areas of M’hamdia, Mourouj and Radès, reserved for drivers coming from the Mourouj and going to the center of the capital.
This operation is part of the progress of the development of this strategic area, which aims to fluidify traffic and improve road safety at the entrance to Tunis.
