The units of the Nation-North National Guard announced that they had found a deaf and silent person, devoid of identity documents, who had been missing for more than 15 years.
This operation was carried out thanks to in -depth research and the intervention of specialized teams. The identity of man was confirmed after statement of his fingerprints. He was reported disappeared by his family in the governorate of Bizerte and was the subject of two wanted notices for this purpose.
After establishing contact with his relatives, the authorities organized his delivery to his family. The man was also taken care of by a specialized center in order to receive the necessary medical and psychological care.
The National Guard recalled, in its press release, that this intervention reflects its commitment to humanitarian issues, in parallel with its security missions.
