Tunisia Electricity Puts this Sunday in four governorates

The Tunisian electricity and gas company (STEG) has announced that electric current will be interrupted in several areas of the governorates of Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia and Kasserine, this Sunday, January 26, 2025, due to maintenance work on the distribution networks.

Governorate of Sousse

The power cut is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will concern the following areas:

KHEZAMA WEST
Sahloul 1 and 2
Jawhara
Oued Oued Ghenim
Zaatir subdivision
SNIT KURAT residence
Barracks
Cité Bouhssina (road to the Olympic stadium and residential area behind the covered room)

Monastir governorate

In this governorate, the cuts will take place as follows:

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

City of Menzel Harb
City of Masjed Issa
Sahline and Jemmal’s route

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Zramdine delegation
Smirate area (lifting of Moknine)

Mahdia governorate

The cuts will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will touch:

Jebal Dar Waja
Part of rue March 2, near the regional police station in agricultural development of Sidi Messaoud
Rue Ibn Jazzar
Part of the Cité Ennour
Dar Cheikh and Dar Belhaj sectors
Boumerdes road
Avenue de la République

Governorate of Kasserine

In this governorate, electricity will be cut from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the following areas:

Boudrias and its surroundings
Bouchebka and its surroundings
Sahraoui and its surroundings
Ain Jenane
Lajred
Assaidia
Ratibat

The STEG specifies that the current will be gradually restored, according to the progress of the work, and without notice.
