The Sousse national security units led, since Monday and until Thursday, January 30, 2025, a series of security operations which led to the arrest of more than 250 individuals sought by various security and judicial bodies.
These campaigns also enabled the seizure of quantities of narcotic tablets.
In parallel, more than 470 motorcycles have been confiscated, some being used for criminal purposes.
As part of these operations, the police managed this Thursday to challenge a dangerous criminal, sought as part of 18 arrest mandates. This individual, who sowed terror among the inhabitants, was involved in several affairs of theft with violence, assaults, drug trafficking and the constitution of a criminal band aimed at infringing public and private goods.
Thanks to meticulous surveillance and intelligence work, the security units managed to locate the suspect and apprehend it despite his attempted flight.
