The shock was felt by the inhabitants of Ksar Ghriss in Meknassi, and is located at 34.63 ° Latitude and 9.78 ° longitude.
This is the fourth telluric shock recorded in the Meknassi region. On February 2 and 3, three seismic tremors with a magnitude of 4.9, 2.5 and 2.6 degrees had previously been recorded.
In addition, a magnitude of 2.7 magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded, at 8:14 p.m. yesterday, west of the Mahres delegation from the governorate of Sfax.
