The Tunisian Ligue 1 Championship delivered its final verdict after 30 intense days. A season marked by the regularity of the Hope of Tunis, the rise of the US Monastir, the awakening of the Sahel star, and the deep difficulties at the bottom of the table.
With 66 points, the Hope of Tunis wins a new national crown, consolidating its domination over Tunisian football. The men of Bab Souika won 19 victories for only 2 defeats, scoring 57 goals and conceding only 22. A season completed on all levels, punctuated by a solid defense and a sharp attack.
The US Monastir ends at an impressive 2nd place with 62 points, remaining undefeated in the face of the Gros and displaying the best defense of the championship with only 11 goals conceded. A remarkable performance that assists the club as a serious candidate for the title in the years to come.
Just behind, the Sahel star completes its season with 61 points, aligning 19 wins like Hope. But his 7 defeats are expensive in the title race. A solid season nevertheless, which gives colors to the Sousse club.
The African club finished 4th with 54 points, tied with ES Zarzis, which signs a very good performance there. For Zarzis, this ranking is a reward for an applied collective and a regular campaign against the mid -table teams.
The season ends with a bitter note for two clubs:
• Us Tataouine, red lantern, closes the walk with 19 points and a catastrophic defense (53 goals conceded).
• EGS Gafsa (22 points) have never managed to get their heads out of the water despite some starts.
These clubs leave the elite with the bitter reality of relegation.
