The city of Kef is preparing to welcome the 10th edition of the Sicca Jazz festival, which will be held from April 30 to May 4, 2025, in the majestic setting of Fort de la Kasbah. The event coincides with International Jazz Day, celebrated across more than 190 countries, with Abu Dhabi as the world capital in 2025.
To mark this anniversary edition, Sicca Jazz will bring together artists from various backgrounds: Tunisia, Algeria, France, Serbia, Australia.
PROGRAM
April 30 (opening): Tunisian composer and pianist Mohamed Ali Kammoun will kick off
May 1: Place at the Tunisian Trio Zied Bagga and the French Group Sensitive
May 2: Jazzman Fawzi Chekili will go on stage, followed by Don Pac (Tunisia)
May 3: Cosmopolitan evening with Haezz (Australia) and Queen Sensation (Serbia)
May 4 (closing): The festival will end with a concert by El Besta (Algeria)
Sicca Jazz is also a dive into the richness of the cultural heritage of the kef. From May 2 to 4, the traveling room cinema T’Dour will offer film screenings from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., to combine music and 7th art.
On May 4, festival -goers will also be able to taste the famous “Borzguen”, an emblematic dish of the region, during a tasting highlighting the local terroir.
On the discovery side, the Pros Garden will offer a scene open to emerging artists: Lulia Project (May 2 at 5 p.m.) and Youssef Oueslati (May 3 at 5 p.m.).
